Gefen presented Wireless USB 2.0 Extension that transmits USB 2.0 signals up to 100 feet in distance and supports 54 Mbps data transmission speed.

This sender/receiver system delivers cable-free USB connectivity and is designed to offer a useful, plug and play method of removing USB devices from the computer station. It is effective in extending typical computer peripherals such as keyboard/mouse and printer with full operational functionality using a radio transmission based on 802.11a, b, g, n and Extreme USB technologies.

Sony Ericsson USB Mobile Broadband Modem MD300

Sony Ericsson announced the launch of its USB mobile broadband modem MD300 that allows users to easily connect their laptops to the internet whenever and wherever they need.

As compact and easy-to-use USB memory stick, the MD300 combines high data download speeds with simple installation and configuration. With Microsoft Windows software and drivers built in, the card installs and configures itself when plugged in, making it a matter of seconds to get connected. The MD300 will be available in luxury black and metallic silver in selected markets.
