Acer Aspire One N270 Intel Atom Netbook
January 24, 2010 | Acer, Notebook | 1 CommentThe netbook is me but is still decent with the N270 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz. The netbook has 1 GB of DDR2 memory, a SATA 160GB spinning at 5400 rpm. For wireless connectivity built into it that connects to 801.11b / g speeds.
The Acer Aspire One is running the Intel Atom N270 is now on clearance over at Amazon. As she runs the Intel Atom N270, it is classified as being a little older because of the launch of the Intel Atom N450 netbooks recently.
The netbook running Windows 7 Starter operating system and the battery has a capacity of 2200 mAh. The downside is a netbook with a simple 3-cell is that it has a low life of the battery a little over 3 hours, compared to the ASUS 1005PE with more than 14 hours of use on a single charge, it seems rather puny. However, the ASUS 1005PE only costs about $ 100 more, but you do get a slightly faster processor, bigger hard drive and wireless N built in. [via gadgetvenue]
