Acer Google Chrome OS Netbook in 2010

DigiTimes reported that Acer expected to be the first company to produce a Google Chrome netbook OS with the company expected to begin shipping the new netbook in the second half of 2010. Acer have worked on the new netbook since early this year, according to DigiTimes sources.

JT Wang, Acer’s president, expects the netbook will be the first in netbooks OS Chrome vessel.

2010 will certainly be an interesting year for mobile devices, since SmartBooks begin to occur with Chrome OS and rumors of Apple tablet device, and a new iPhone. [via gadgetvenue]
