Advent PQG9002 4GB RAM Quad Core Phenom PC

When we received the Advent PQG9002 the PC at the office, I was ready to be moderately impressed. After all, a Quad Core Phenom supported by 4GB of RAM, a hard disk of 640GB and an ATI Radeon 4350 for £ 519 might not be brilliant, but still seem decent value.

The first thing I did, which is a curious type, was to undo the screws and slide the left side panel with a little force. This led to the discovery that the CPU fan draws in air from outside through a heat tunnel plastic attached to the left, a nice touch that works well when I meet with a shroud on the Dell Studio XPS.Good points continued with a passively cooled Foxconn motherboard, fan Radeon 4350 graphics card, and a person looking CoolerMaster fan on the Phenom X4 9150e (which runs at a modest 1.8 GHz). At this point, you’re probably what I think: PQG9002 the machine will be a very quiet, despite its additional case fan 80mm and 80mm PSU fan.

Unfortunately, these illusions were dispelled immediately when I’m on the PC. And not just for me either, people on the other side of the office were wondering aloud who have turned the air conditioning on. Simply put, this little innocent-looking PC is the largest non-gaming machine, we had over the years in laboratories, and it seems that the CoolerMaster fan, of all things, is mainly to blame.

Similarly, the problems of PQG9002 there. Advent is the only strictly symbolic gestures to sort of cable, although to be fair, there is nothing that will affect the air. Get the side panel back on the case is also a great pain, and requires a lot of experimentation before you get the ‘thing’, something more suited to a Chinese puzzle as a PC. [via trustedreviews]
