To begin, the subwoofer is huge beyond necessity. Just look at rival 2.1-channel systems such as the Razer Mako speakers or Creative GigaWorks T3 to see that it is entirely possible for a small sub-ish to pump decent bass and without looking like a monument of Tutankhamun. The satellites are not much better either. Smoke plastic envelope does not really scream quality and glossy black case to the driver of mid-range units to raise a fair bit of space.
So far, so subjective and I am not arrogant enough to believe that my opinion is shared by all, in fact, I am sure that more than two of you looking at the pictures and I wondered how I could be so blind . Alas, there are more fundamental questions.
The first of these is the number of inputs on offer. Or rather, input.
