Sky have launched a free application for iPhone that lets you set your Sky + or Sky + HD box in recording mode from a remote location.

The application allows you to download a guide to the string, and then say what your box to record. It is ideal for those who want to record something, but forgot to bring their system while at home. As the application is web-based, it works anywhere in the world where you can access the internet.
