ASUS Eee 1215N Generation Multimedia Netbook
July 2, 2010 | Asus, Notebook | 4 CommentsASUS has announced the ASUS Eee PC 1215N. The new 12-inch netbook is classified as belonging to the Multimedia category. It comes with an Intel Atom D525 inside with a next-generation NVIDIA ION that allows better performances in terms of graphics to achieve.
The D525 Intel Atom processor is actually a double heart that allows him to manage tasks more comfortably than the previous single core.
The ION NVIDIA GPU enables 1080p video to be played on screen with 1366 x 768 with no problems or defects, according to the press release. Hardware decoders in the 1215N fully decode H.264, VC1 and MPEG2 file formats while the HDMI output Full HD 1080p can play on big screens.
Other features found on ASUS 1215N include USB 3.0 for file transfers up to 4.8GB / s which makes it 10 times faster than USB 2.0 although you’ll almost need the equipment connected to the right to use speed. Bluetooth 3.0 is also included, which is faster than Bluetooth 2.1 8x, again under the right circumstances. Connectivity includes 802.11n as well as compatibility with wireless networks when necessary.
For storage, the ASUS Eee 1215N comes with a disk of 250 GB or 320 GB
