Asus has revealed their first smartphone that will run the Glide OS. The named is P552w if you want the technical name. The phone is packed with a number of features such as 2.8-inch screen, GPS and is capable of high-speed downloads via 3.5G networks .

The operating system on the phone Asus Glide is highly integrated with Google applications such as maps and research. Using innovative sliding interface (which I hope is smooth and not sliding), you are able to access all features of the phone via the touch screen. The fuel processor operates at 624MHz phone which enables it run a number of features quickly.

The trajectory of the interface on the Asus P552w works based on gestures. Actions such as dragging your finger left, right, pressing the screen etc. All help you navigate the menus PDA. Actions such as zoom, scroll and roll can also be performed.

On the connectivity side of things you have 3.5G which is able to provide a data network to 3.6Mbps if conditions permit. If you’re in a wi-fi zone, you can use 802.11b / g networks to allow access to the Internet. With a mixture of these features, you should never be without a connection.

Although Google Apps are installed on the Asus P552w not really able to function even if Android Asus are not 100% clear (unless Glide is an operating system in his car, but for now it seems that this is an application that runs on top of an OS).
