The emphasis on the new series is designed as quoted in the press release “Each of them a masterpiece in a very desirable, and U UX Series modern take on the streets”.

I’m not too fussed myself on the design of these as they look half decent, I’m ok with that. What I am more interested in what is inside and what it can do. The Chicklet is the size of a backlit keyboard for easy use in the dark and to add some class to the design. As well as lighting the keyboard, the touchpad is too. The screen measure 15.6 “and is a screen LED backlit. Light sensors are used so that the dark screen in darker situations and alleviate bright situations. It is a practical tool to have because I am often changing my screen brightness based on time of day and different levels of light.
Inside, it is an Intel Core 2 Duo, one (up to) 500 GB hard drive, a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 105M G has 512 MB of memory and built in Altec Landing speakers using SRS True Surround and HD audio. No details on price just yet but with a Core 2 Duo processor and a dedicated graphics chip, it would probably bump the price a bit.
