Bluetooth 3.0 Revealed Soon Special Interest Group

The new version will be faster then at high speed before allowing data transfers. We know nothing about how fast it will actually be, but undoubtedly it will be much faster than the current 2.0/2.1 standards that are currently in use.

The new Bluetooth 3.0 Enhanced EPC which means Power Control. What is the protocol only reduces the amount of the disconnect that can occur due to weak signal problems. When it disconnects the whole system slows down. By increasing the power, if necessary, it should end this problem.
The system works via Bluetooth 802.11. Nothing else has been revealed just yet, and you have to wait to 21 April 2009 for the full official announcement. [ via gadgetvenue ]
