Buffalo Unveils NAS Support Device

Buffalo recently unveiled the latest Network Attached Storage (NAS) of the device called the TS-XEL/R5 TeraStation. The NAS is available in 2TB, 4TB and 6TB models and supports up to four SATA drives in RAID 0, RAID 5, RAID 5 or 10 modes.

The device also comes with an LCD screen, two USB 2.0 ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet and support for hot-swapping, Apple’s Time Machine and Active Directory services. The TS-XEL/R5 TeraStation will hit Japan later this month for $ 946 (2TB) $ 1.180 (4TB) and 1535 $ (6TB), respectively. [via techfresh]
