Bungie Confirms Committed Stance on Halo Involvement Games
April 3, 2009 | Games | Comments OffYesterday we reported on the news that Bungie would be “committed” to work on Halo for at least 2 years. Well today, they have developed more on this by saying that Halo odst is their latest draft of the Halo franchise.
As reported by Eurogamer, they say they have “no further plans for more Halo 3 content odst beyond, although they continue to support the experience Halo 3 online with minor updates such as playlists and matchmaking moderate servers as needed.
Bungie said: “We do not, but now, Bungie has no intention of making new Halo 3 content beyond the release of odst. With the Forge and Sandbox Mythic map, we are already see the strengthening of the community to create excellent new maps and gametypes that will offer more variety and longevity of the game en route”.
