Although there is no doubt that the Canon IXUS 85 was a superbly well made camera, and is lightweight, compact and easy to use, it is also undeniable that it is very costly and does not offer many features for money. Although the performance is well up to Canon usual standard, image quality is disappointed by wide-angle lens distortion, corner blurring and high-ISO noise problems. If I spend more than £ 200 on a compact camera I expect a little more than that.
