Canon iVIS HF21 and iVIS HF S11 Full HD Digital Camcorders

They can record video in AVCHD to 24Mbps Full HD resolution MPEG-4 AVC/H.264. Both camcorders are equipped with Canon’s DIGIC III image processor DV.
The IVIS HF21 features a 1/4-inch CMOS sensor 3.89 megapixels and a 15x optical zoom. It offers a 60x digital zoom. IVIS HF S11, is a 8.59-megapixel 1/2.6-inch sensor, a 10x optical zoom and a 40x digital zoom. They both provide optical stabilization, detection and face.
With internal memory of 64 GB, this camcorder can record about six hours of Full HD video and there is an SD card slot for expansion. Both IVIS IVIS HF21 and HF S11 has a 2.7-inch LCD screen, an HDMI output port and a USB port. They will be released in August 2009. [via itechnews]
