Canon has announced its 2008 camcorder line this morning there are nine new models that offer a mixture of SD and HD recording, with a mixture of the band, DVDs and semiconductor storage.

 

The entry level SD MD205 and MD235 Canon MiniDV camcorders use new advanced Zoom which combines a genuine Canon video lens with the DIGIC DV to give a digital zoom up to 45x. Prices start around £ 190 for the MD205 and £ 220 for the MD235. [ Via mobilecomputermag ]
