Canon Rebel XT Survives Digital Camera

It’s not often you get a chance to drop your digital SLR camera at 3000 feet on the ground, but that’s exactly what happened behind closed doors the pictures above. The aircraft had dropped a Canon Rebel XT, which fell from an airplane and managed to survive somehow.

Judging by all the dirt on her, she seems to have had a cushioned landing although the abandonment of a camera from a few feet is not recommended, let alone 3000.

The accident occurred when a person jumps from a plane parachuted to the ground. The camera mounted on the head fell to the top of the jump and the picture shown here is the result of what happened. According to the owner of the camera lens and the camera is still in tact and works Ok. [via gadgetvenue]
