The PowerShot SD1000 has a 7.1 megapixel CCD image sensor, DIGIC image processor and 3x optical zoom. Other features include a 2.5-inch LCD screen, up to ISO 1600, capture technology face, PictBridge support and SD card slot support SDHC as well.

Through its signature squared-off and without flushing event design, a modern twist on the traditional triumph of the classic ELPH, the PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH camera incorporates nearly all the features of his brother slightly higher.
