iPhone Google Voice Web App HTML5
The application works just like the web version used on a desktop PC and lets you make calls, send text messages and listen to voice messages. Contacts can also be accessed on mobile browser.

For months, Google [GOOG] have tried to get Apple [AAPL] to accept the Google Voice for the iPhone. For various reasons we wont go into it, Apple has always refused the request. Thank you to HTML5 Google launched Google Voice as a web application that allows Google to be used for voice on the iPhone (and the upcoming Palm).
Synchronization is also possible that you can sync contacts from your Palm or Apple iPhone Pre with what you’ve already stored in your Google Account vote. It’s a smart move forward for Google to do it this way but it would be nice to have Apple approve the application, but suffice it to do for you! [via gadgetvenue]
iPhone 4G and OS 4.0 Portable Computers
The new iPhone is likely to come with the new OS 4.0, which is rumored to be backward compatible with the 3G iPhones and 3GS. Top10.co.uk reported in a new post today that the new iPhone OS 4.0 and 4G phone would have a focus on iPhones do “more like laptops.

Users of the first generation iPhone and many other Smartphone devices have evolved steadily forward to the computer-like devices that combine the use of popular films, traditionally only seen on desktop computers. It is still yet to see if the details are released about iPhone 4G or the new OS 4.0 to EVENT 27th January. We will keep you and dissect the new operating system in detail when news breaks.
iPhone & iPod Touch G-Fi and Navmii Satelite Navigation
An application called Navmii brings satellite navigation to the Apple [AAPL] iPhone and iPod Touch 2G. The browser is called Navmii and provides turn-by-turn navigation for each of such devices.

To get the GPS coordinates of a new system called G-Fi is used. G-Fi device with a GPS receiver inside and also works as a mini-router for the iPod touch or iPhone 2G to connect to wireless and GPS receive to enable the mapping software function. Although not a new product, I always thought it was worth a mention here.
The G-Fi device is battery operated and is good to power the GPS and the wireless connection for about 5 hours of use. The broadcast radius is about 100 feet. Geolife created Navmii software that provides turn-by-turn routing. PosiMotion are a company that makes the G-Fi device that works alongside him. The software costs £ 29.99 for UK cards and $ 39.99 for maps of the United States while the Wireless GPS G-Fi hardware costs $ 99. [via gadgetvenue]
Apple Wins Lawsuit Popular iPod
In 2006, a class action was filed against Apple, alleging that their popular iPod was defective because it can produce sounds up to 115 decibels, which can cause hearing damage after exposure to long term. The case was dismissed in 2008 because the plaintiffs have not provided proof that iPods are defective, or so they had been personally harmed by their use iPod.

No documents of the trials showed no evidence that the plaintiffs themselves suffered no hearing damage at all. Instead, they said that iPods could theoretically cause hearing damage if used incorrectly.
The Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit affirmed that dismissal in 2008. Senior Judge David Thompson said: “At most, the plaintiffs pleaded a potential risk of hearing loss not to themselves but to other unidentified iPod users.” It is for iPod users d ‘properly use their iPod, and that’s how it should be. Pedal Brain iPhone Application
Pedal brain is a new application to start soon for the iPhone and the iPod that allows you to track cycling in a manner similar to how Nike+ functions. The application is described as being much more powerful than the Nike + Running version though.

The pedal system the brain uses ANT+ wireless protocol for connecting devices together and let them all communicate with your iPhone. By attaching a special receiver for your iPhone application is able to capture data and then you can look over the rest of your journey is complete.
