Dell Beyond Apple iPhone, RIM BlackBerry and Palm Pre Headset
February 3, 2009 | Component, Dell, Headset | Comments OffThe Smartphone is a highly competitive market and has great players with cool devices. These include the RIM (RIMM) BlackBerry, Apple (AAPL) iPhone and the upcoming Palm (PALM) Pre.
Dell, the famous manufacturer of the computer is apparently on a Smartphone compete with these high-end phones. He will need to go beyond the iPhone, Blackberry or before succeeding in this market, in fact, say the analysts, it will be “spectacular.”
Dell has been contacted by InformationWeek on new phones and gave the standard no comment on the rumor response. Last month, the Wall Street Journal broke the news that Dell engineers were at work on two phones, one that has a sliding keyboard and the other has a touch screen. One of those phones running on Microsoft (MSFT) Windows Mobile software and the other on Google (GOOG) Android OS.
