Denon AVR-2310 AV Receiver Media Player

We have very clear ideas on how we like our films to the good, and it’s something Denon has acknowledged its latest range of AV receivers, two of which were specifically addressed for the United Kingdom ears.
The AVR-2310 is the most advanced of three new sub-£ 1000 models launched this year by Denon, next to the entry level, 550W AVR-1610 (£ 349) and the step-up 840W AVR-1910 ( £ 479). Both the AVR-2310 and AVR-1910 are “UK Tuned”, which means that the Japanese Denon engineers have conducted listening sessions with audio Denon UK gurus and tweaked until the sound that everyone in the room is happy. It is difficult to say exactly what the “United Kingdom’s is, but it lies somewhere between the upstream brashness favored by the Germans and the sweet, the sound Detailed enchants Japanese ears.
What buyers of the UK’s love is also a long list of advanced features to play with, and the AVR-2310 and goes far beyond the call of duty to offer a range of goodies that will make any self-respecting home theater fan feel like a kid in a candy on pocket money day.

Denon has sent us the black version but it is also available in Premium Silver, if that floats your boat, and in both cases, the company has created an attractive unit that does not rely on Fire ‘n’ logos for his powers of art – the aesthetic is gaining brownie points with a class, sub-Denon always look so well.
The vibration-resistant housing – supported by a fund attached to the rigid chassis iron feet – is robust and reassuring to the unit is surprisingly compact, slotting into space normally occupied by my beloved AVR-3802 with loads the room on the edges.
Every aspect of the front is good taste and friendly, the standout feature a huge showcase this information in large print. A row of buttons is almost invisible integrated along the lower edge of the display, while all other keys (menu for the control, and surround modes) are properly placed along the bottom.
