Packard Bell, one of the best brands of consumer PCs in Europe, the unveiling iPower x2.0, a superb combination of power, graphics performance, the state of the art cooling and ergonomics. It is equipped with the latest GPU, including the GeForce 9800GX2, or ATI Radeon HD4870. It is powered by the latest Intel ® Core ™ 2 Quad or Intel ® Core ™ 2.

The iPower x2.0 is available in 3 to 500 GB of storage capacity, a 21-in-1 card reader, eSATA port, Blu-ray2 disk drive, 7.1 HD audio system, TV hybrid tuner2 game and a keyboard and a mouse. The iPower x2.0 will be available in Europe at Christmas 2008. Prices range from € 999 to € 1799 and more.

The beautiful chassis of the iPower x2.0 shows its inner secrets – including its components, and enhance quality – through a translucent surface with LED lights red trim. The Packard Bell design studio developed a sexy lap event that unites a black color system with the base metal, transparent housing, glossy, beveled corners and harmonious dimensions (510 H x 217 l X 530 L).

With the iPower x2.0, components can operate at their best at the right temperature. Three very effective and silent with fans 120mm intelligent power management generate optimum airflow. The disks are cooled with direct air, graphics cards and cables spaced along the rear end of the chassis. The Asetek liquid cooling system allows the iPower x2.0 to provide maximum power with maximum safety. Factory sealed, the new coolant system gives the iPower x2.0 low noise footprint and more efficient heat dispersion.

A multitude of connectors on the top of the tower make it easy to connect gaming devices commonly used. Stable and robust, the iPower x2.0 has two built-in handle for easy transport of LAN parties.

The iPower x2.0 comes with the Packard Bell Premium Pack Deluxe software, which includes many games: Nintendo PES 2008, EA Need For Speed ™ ProStreet or Need for Speed ™ Carbon, EA Crysis, etc. The pack also includes software Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, Norton Internet Security ™ 2008 and Microsoft Works 9, not to mention online services such as Carbonite online backup, Google Earth ™, Picasa ™, Skype ™ and Metabolism games.
