Epson Aculaser C4200DN Backlit LCD Multi-line Printer
July 12, 2010 | Epson, Printer | 2 CommentsA great color laser printer for small office should have a good turn of speed and high paper capacity, it can be left to himself for weeks. Epson AcuLaser C4200DN’s designed to do both, with a top speed of 35 ppm and a room to load up to 700 sheets at a time.

This is a big machine, which is based on the large office and may be better located on a separate stand. It is not only the challenge, even if, as is 588mm deep and is a final lift of two men nearly 35 kg. Some depth has fallen for the four toner cartridges, which sit in a horizontal line under a large gray plastic cover on the back, making them more easily accessible than perhaps any other in a laser color office.
In front of the section is the cartridge slot and print output before the machine is a simple but effective control panel. This has a bitmap, backlit LCD Multi-line, a ring of navigation controls and start and cancel buttons jobs.
Below the controls is a 50-sheet multipurpose tray, which folds forward, and basically it is the paper tray 550-sheet main. An optional second 550-sheet tray is also available, and a wireless adapter to complete the USB ports and 10/100 Ethernet on the back.
Fold the entire front section and you have easy access to the photoconductor drum, fuser and transfer belt, which must be replaced periodically, but at very high yields. Again, the machine is designed for durability and minimal maintenance.
Software installation takes little time and involves a full driver Adobe PostScript Level 3, a little strange, PCL 5 and PCL 6 are the options. There is support for both Windows and OS X on the CD provided and Linux and NetWare drivers are available for download. [via trustedreviews]
