Epson Stylus Pro 3880 Printer

Epson adds to its line of large format printer of the new Stylus Pro 3880. The new Epson UltraChrome K3 features technology with Vivid Magenta ink and Advanced MicroPiezo AMC print head to produce gallery-quality color and black and white to Exit 17 “x 22″.

Its pigment ink set produces a wide range of colors with more dramatic blues and violets, while any new image AccuPhoto HD2 technology provides color transitions smoother and better highlight and shadow detail. The Stylus Pro 3880 offers a substantial media support with cut BorderFree support treatment for 4 “x6″ to 17 “x 22″.

Two versions are available, $ 1295 Epson Stylus Pro 3880 Standard Edition and $ 1495 Epson Stylus Pro 3880 Graphic Arts Edition (includes ColorBurst RIP). They will be available in October 2009. [via itechnews]
