Eye-Fi Card SDHC 4 GB Cool Video Camera
March 5, 2009 | Component, Electronics, Gadgets | Comments OffEye-Fi cards are cool little things that let you upload images to the Internet directly from your camera as pictures are taken. Until now, they were able to store up to 2GB of photos and send those photos to a wireless network for applications such as Flickr and Facebook. They have been updated and 4 GB is capable of uploading to Youtube as well.

While capturing video from your camera to your Eye-Fi card will automatically download videos from Youtube, if you wish. All you have to do is be within range of a wireless network and it goes away. Of course, before configuration is needed so that you can say what the powers of the card to use to connect to a wireless network and what username and password to download the service online. Once the “one-off” configuration is if you’re good to go.
A couple of new versions of this map has been launched. The first is to find out who is able to download the image and video over a wireless network and utilize geotagging too. Geotagging is not based on GPS data and uses information from surrounding Wi-Fi networks to determine the approximate locations of the photo was taken. Discover the 4 GB will cost $ 99. Next is the part that costs $ 79.99 and everything, but does geotagging.
If you want to download on the go then it seems that Explorer is for you because it makes access to sensitive areas and web services much easier. [ via gadgetvenue ]
