Gateway, which is part of Acer, the series introduced the SX mini-PC Towe and DX series of mini-PC for back to school buyers. The SX series is the PC manufacturer first mini PC (SFF PC).

One model of the SX series, the SX2800-01 is powered by Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, and integrated GMA X4500 graphics. It is 640 GB hard drive and a 18x DVD burner. The SFF has an eSATA port, one IEEE 1394a port, a HDMI port and USB 2.0 ports 9. The price is $ 499.99.

Series DX, on the other hand, comes in mini-tower form factor is available with AMD or Intel. The DX4300-03 is stimulated by AMD Phenom X4 9750 2.4GHz processor and ATI Radeon HD 4650 graphics card, hard drive of 1TB, an integrated TV tuner, while the WiFi DX4820-02 is a Core 2 Quad Q8400 2.66GHz CPU, 750GB hard drive, 512 MB NVIDIA GeForce G210 graphics card.
