Hitachi Electronic Blackboard Gadgets

The electronic tables are built in 2 PC and use infrared cameras and a lens with a viewing angle of 170 °. The infrared camera of the screen can be touched and co-ordinates found and returned to the PC that updates the display.
The screen measures 50 inches and because of the large field of view cameras, the other screen size can easily be put in place unlike the previous versions which used a small field view.
The electronic tables are designed for schools and will cost ¥ 700,000 (about $ 7500 USD) when launched next month. [via gadgetvenue]
