HTC G1 Software Google Android Phone

We talked about the appearance, menu and operation of the G1. Now we have come to what this is all about the Android software. The interface works seamlessly and quickly. You really feel that the device understands what you are trying to do, and it’s just great! Since the phone is equipped with 3G, you have a fast Internet connection at your disposal (almost) anywhere you go. And with T-Mobile G1 you really Internet at your disposal. You can surf the Net as if you’re home or office, and although on a small monitor, it does not allow users of the facility. The fact that you can download (free and for a fee) all types of applications through the market makes the G1 Android cell phone. It is designed to your wishes and needs. One of the more intelligent, I find “Gmail”, an email program that is almost identical to the online version, very comprehensive and easy to use.

Naturally, the Google Android Phone is a digital camera on board. A 3.2 megapixel camera, to be precise. However, the digital camera is one of the weaknesses of the mobile phone. Starting the application takes forever and the shutter delay is not too dramatic. Unfortunately, a flash of light is insufficient, which means that the photo taken in the (almost) dark is impossible. These can not be called the most current functions. Fortunately, the autofocus is available and from a point of view on, you get sharp images. Features such as the adjustment of values ISO or shutter speed are not available for this simple digital camera. In general, it allows you to make photos of a quality, fun to take pictures between the two, however, it is certainly not a replacement for a compact digital camera.

Google software is something that has been eagerly awaited by many. For the first time in the history of mobile telephony, the operating system is more important than the device itself. T-Mobile G1 is the first Google Android mobile phone understands. [ via letsgodigital ]
