iPhone Get 802.11n Connection Wi-Fi Phone
April 10, 2009 | Cell Phones, Electronics, iPhone | 1 CommentSince the iPhone OS 3.0 Beta software was launched a few weeks ago, he gave a lot of time for people to take it apart and look at what’s in the code. Some interesting things about the wi-fi connectivity were found indicating a faster connection wi-fi.

Some radio details are in the beta software, which indicate an issue of the Broadcom BCM4329 chip. This chip is an upgrade to the older phones that use the BCM4325. The BCM4329 (new chip) and a wireless dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), it also 802.11a/b/g/n Bluetooth 2.1 EDR and an FM receiver / transmitter. It is not known whether early, whether the iPhone will use all these features, but probably wifi and Bluetooth are an essential and definitive.
If you use the iPhone on the network frequencies of 5 GHz, there is less chance of interference with other external devices that will further speed up the signal. Do not lose the signal that it would greatly help the efficiency to help the battery lasts longer too. [ via gadgetvenue ]
