JOBO ScanViewer Combines Digital Photo Frame and Digital Scanner

Transforming an old pre-digital memories in pixels of rich images usually involves buying a scanner, the loading of impressions into a computer and then transfer them to a USB or SD Card Flash to display your digital photo frame . JOBO has greatly simplified this process by including an integrated scanner in its latest photo frame – the aptly named ScanView.

JOBO If the name sounds familiar, it could be because the company offers solutions for photography since the 1920s, or it may be that the Apollo 11 pictures were processed using JOBO equipment. The company now has offices in Germany and the United States and supplies professional and consumer products such as photography darkroom equipment, portable pocket photo viewer and digital photo frames to a global market.

The latest addition to its line of digital photo frames designed to eliminate the confusion of digitally capture and display the old photographic prints by combining a 1200 x 1800 pixel, 300 dpi scanner with an 8-inch (20.3 cm ) digital photo viewer. Support for printing photo sizes from 1.6 x 2 inches (4 cm x 5 cm) to 4 x 6 inch (10 x 15cm), the scanner instantly turns treasured memories into digital images such as printing passes through the slit in the viewing area of the frame. The chassis comes with 1 GB of internal memory, but also supports CF, SD, SDHC, MMC, MS, XD memory expansion card. The resolution is 800 x 600 pixels at a ratio of 4:3 and a contrast ratio of 400:1.
