The GY-HM700 produces progressively higher resolution compared to other models from JVC. It uses 1 / 3 “optical unit with Diagonal Offset and exclusive patented Adaptive Pixel Correlation Technique, which happens to be the reason for its higher resolution.
The GY-HM700 is equipped with a new robust high resolution camera based on a new .45-inch 1.22 million pixel liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) panel (852 x 480 x 3). This brand new digital camera displays images with more than 5 times the resolution of typical color viewfinders. Integrated with a large 4.3 inch flip-out LCD monitor that offers recording, playback, clip management and control menus as well.
