Kingston DataTraveler 5000 USB Flash Drive

Kingston has launched the 5000 Kingston DataTraveler USB flash drive. Even if it does not come with capacities higher than we expect these days from flash drives, it only protects data featuring encryption AES 256-bit hardware.

Encryption AES 256-bit hardware uses XTS mode that Kingston say is much stronger than the CCP and ECB modes available. Using XTS encryption algorithms with Elliptic Curve Cryptology (ECC) disks actually meet the standards Suite B, which are approved by the U.S. government … ie, it is a safe place to dump your files.
