Kodak CX7330 Square Screen Digital Camera

I am the owner of the Kodak CX7330 for nearly two years now. I paid a little over £ 100 for it if I note that the price appears to have increased dramatically to just over £ 200 on many sites retail sales since then.

Kodak CX7330 Digital Camera

Setting up the camera was easy and I can still recall that the launch did not take long. The aircraft was well presented in a small box with a set of rechargeable batteries, a battery charger, a cable connection, instructions and a memory card. The aircraft fiddly few extras you need to connect the first time you unpack it, just unpack it, drag it to the memory card, insert a couple of AA batteries and you can start immediately.

Taking pictures is very easy and lazy like me, this device is extremely appropriate. If you do not want to tinker with the various flash or condition of options, you can drag the wheel of options “Auto” and let the camera detects the best option for your setting for you. Even in this technological age, we find here a beautiful and simple “point and click” camera. However, as time passed, I unfortunately needed to select a specific option at certain times. The options are: “Auto”, “Sports”, “Portrait”, “Landscape”, “Close Up” or “video”. Sometimes I found it is necessary to choose the “Close Up” option to photograph items very close to me as “Auto” has failed me a few times. Fortunately, the wonderful thing about using a digital camera is that you can of course remove altogether a bad picture and take another place.

Review photos on this camera is beautiful and too easy. There is a little “review” button at the back of the device you can press to view photos stored on the memory card on the small 1. 5 “square screen. There is a scroll button outside of the screen to the left that you can use to switch between the photos you want to view. There is also a delete button just above the button scroll to allow you to get rid of any mistake. I never had a problem with using this function and find photos of the load quickly and smoothly as you go along.
With regard to transfer images from the camera goes to the computer, the process is relatively simple and fast. If you’ve never used a Kodak EasyShare camera with your computer before May, then you must install the software on your computer before you can download photos of this camera. You can do either using a disc that came with the camera or May you find you need to download from their website instead. Nevertheless produce the same results (I’ve done both in my time).

When you are ready to upload your photos, you plug one end of the cable connecting computer in the side of your camera and the other on a USB port on your computer. The download will start automatically and in seconds a box will appear on the screen gives you some options for your transfer such as “delete images from original device?” I always use this option, it means that I do not need to go back and erase my memory card after transferring photos. The transfer process does take a couple of minutes in my experience and, of course, it depends on the number of photos being uploaded too. My computer does not fight during the transfer process so that if I can sit here and surf the Internet or play a game of cards while I’m waiting. When the download is complete, Kodak EasyShare Software is automatically loaded onto the display of my most recent photos. From there, I can edit my photos quickly and easily if I want. There is the possibility of ordering prints directly through the Kodak site, if you wish fortunately this is not offered on several occasions, you deliberately select the option if you want to use. I like the way I am able to do anything with editing and printing of my photos as I want to print without interference.
Overall the picture quality was very good during the two years I have owned and used this camera. The specifications of this camera are the uses 3.1mp (mega pixels), but I can not say that means something to me in all honesty. All I know is that the resolution of my pictures are very good and I do not get blurred images, strange shadows or tiny gaps on my photos as I have lived with digital cameras cheaper in the past. I see from time to time red-eye on my pictures but much less frequently than I used to a non-digital camera. I find that in the rare cases where a picture does not come with the colors I expect it to have, I can quickly remedy this situation by using color enhance “option when editing my pictures on my computer.

The video has this camera is nothing particularly great and therefore not something that I used very often. Using the memory card to store video leaves little room for anything else; maximum capacity, it can store located just a few minutes. However, it is decent quality and includes at least as well as its capacity to connect television. You can download video clips from your computer in exactly the same way you have photos that is practical. I think it’s a nice bonus feature for those who want to catch baby’s first steps on camera or a short sequence similar but do not confuse this new feature with a video camera capabilities.
There are some drawbacks, unfortunately, most of them are a lack of sustainability. Rechargeable batteries are much longer and have not done since the camera was only a few months. I have two series (having bought a second pair off eBay) and the need to have both fully charged and with me whenever I go out with my camera. I found a set of batteries runs just twenty to thirty minutes in total use these days, down from an hour or two early. I also find I can not use three times the zoom feature that for some strange reason, zooming the image turns blue. I have absolutely no idea why this happens, but it has been the case since the camera was less than a year. Similarly annoying is that no camera closes more fully when the camera is switched off and did not do so for about a year now. The camera is always produce images of good quality (less the zoom function) so that these defects are a pain, but not reason enough to get a replacement just yet.

Overall I would give this camera 3.5 of 5 stars (rated 4 / 5 for purposes Ciao). The picture quality and ease of transfer and photo editing is really good, I mark for the mistakes he is very engaged in a short period of time. My recommendation is that it is a camera to buy around £ 100 of the mark if you can, but it is certainly not worth £ 225 the price of certain sites for the offer.
