LG Verizon VX9100 Gets Real Phone
December 8, 2008 | Cell Phones, Electronics, LG | Comments OffIf the LG Voyager the huge external touchscreen is not your cup of tea, Verizon has your back with the LG VX9100. With a small external display and dedicated external keypad that flips open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard and stereo speakers, the LG VX9100 is a smaller, thinner bid for text messages aficionados. Now, you may have thought that the LG VX10000 Voyager was thought to be the successor to the original Verizon LG VX9900 env, but then you are wrong. Verizon is apparently looking into the LG VX9100 as the LG ‘ENV2 “- a true-blue successor in both name and form.

We’re hearing that Black and Maroon are first on the LG ENV2 color palette, which should provide a little more action than the original LG VX9900 about the launch in black. From the photos, it is clear that miniUSB or microUSB are in the cards for LG ENV2, as is a microSD card slot. And the word is that 2 megapixel shooter will update the original LG approx 1.3 megapixel kit.
I hope we’ll see Verizon launch this handset soon. The price is not yet known, but it is safe to say that it will be a little more affordable than the LG Voyager VX10000.
