Mac OS X Leopard Windows Vista Back Up
January 16, 2009 | Component, Computer, Software | 1 CommentIt’s just what happened to us a few weeks ago with the Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard, shortly after we invested in a Time Capsule and start using Time Machine. Unfortunately, computers running Windows Vista can not use Apple’s Time Machine and backup software only Vista.

So how does Vista compare Time Machine to backup? This is what we decided to test and every two to work, some seem to go further in functionality and usability. Time Machine on Mac is amazing, once you’ve done the first backup, which can take several hours and not even on his first attempt for us. Backups are coming in every hour, and you do not even know that your files are saved.
Restoring files with Time Machine is second to none style and ease of use, you access a directory on the Mac and click the Time Machine icon and the screen scrolls down to display a 3D view different restore points in the timeline. Simple and elegant. Unfortunately, there is nothing like a Windows PC, we used integrated into the Vista backup software that is easy to install. You can save files fairly easy to SD card, another device connected to your Windows computer or over the network.
Set to daily backups is the work done and again, you do not even know your backup files are updated, although there is nothing like the hours of backups and line options from time to time the machine’s basic Vista, but the configuration still keeps your important files on security.
