Magellan Maestro 4700 GPS Touch Screen
The Magellan Maestro 4700 is the latest GPS unit to be announced. The device is thin and has a fairly large 4.7 “widescreen touch screen. The device is designed to have a number of user-friendly features that include OneTouch user interface that allows destinations to be a single menu.

- Exclusive OneTouch (TM) Menu Favorites: Access favorite destinations and searches with bookmarks. Go to your favorite café or restaurant in a city with one button. To meet demand, the Magellan Maestro 4700 offers a new midday to save bookmarks favorites.
- Bluetooth Hands-Free Calling: Make and receive calls using a cell phone. Access your address book from phone to access up to 1000 numbers directly from your Magellan Maestro 4700. The noise-canceling microphone noise of the road continues down to you of course.
- Predictive Traffic: Analysis of traffic past when creating a route to help you avoid delays. Choose to remain on the proposed route or go with the less congested roads.
- Instant access to all points of interest (POI): Do a search and get results from both the standard and the database of POI Magellan exclusive AAA TourBook (R) guide. The results are organized in a tabbed format.
- “Find Your Car” with pedestrians Mode: remembers the location of your car in parking lots, airports, shopping centers, universities, amusement parks and stadiums. When your day is done Magellan Maestro 4700 automatically guide you to your car.
- 3D Landmarks: Displays of visual cues to help drivers perform maneuvers and find destinations.
- Larger Fonts: Provides visualization easier and safer while driving.
- Intuitive, Context-Driven Touch Zones: Provides drivers with an interactive map display.
- New Address Book, an address can add a snap at intelligent summary that lets users save complete itineraries.
- QuickSpell (R) with Smart City Search: Allows quick, easy-to-address or multi-destination practice of travel planning, including route optimization.
The device will be available at a good price at $ 299 and includes a windshield mount and cradle, a car adapter, USB cable, protection pouch, adhesive disc for mounting on dash, if the n is not necessary and a reference guide. [via gadgetvenue]
