Matrox M9188 PCIe x16 Single-Slot Octal Graphics Card

Matrox has announced the M9188 PCIe x16, the first single octal-slot graphics card that is capable of supporting eight or DisplayPort single-link DVI outputs from a single workstation. The M9188 PCIe x16 PCIe x16 uses and has 2 GB of memory. It offers up to 2560 × 1600 by the output resolution with DisplayPort or 1920 × 1200 with DVI.

The new card works with Windows 7 OS. The M9188 PCIe x16 is priced at $ 1995. There are also the least developed M9128 which drive two monitors and 1GB of memory. M9128 is priced at $ 259. Matrox publish these maps in Q4 2009. [via itechnews]
