Motion Computing launches new tablet PC J3500 robust for mobile workers. The new J3500 has a 12.1-inch display with capacitive Touch Dual LED-backlit glass and Gorilla. Optional ViewAnywhere screen can be equipped for outdoor use.

J3500 Motion is driven by Intel Core i7 CPU or i5, 2GB RAM (4GB max) and 160GB hard disk or SSD option 64GB/128GB. It supports WiFi and broadband Gobi2000 comes with optional integrated mobile GPS. The Tablet PC also includes enhanced security with full disk encryption manageable, and Intel Anti-Theft technology used with Computrace, protecting valuable data in case of loss or theft.

The J3500 meets MIL-STD-810G and IP-52 ratings for protection against shocks, falls, rain or other conditions. It starts at $ 2,299. [via itechnews]
