Motorola Ming A1680 Clamshell Android Smartphone

The Ming A1680 has a 3.1 inch AMOLED 480 x 800 pixel touch screen designed for writing, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with video recording, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi connectivity. It has an integrated GPS with internal antenna and e-compass.

This Ming Android is powered by Marvell PXA935 624MHz processor, 256MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM. It supports microSD / SDHC up to 32GB. The phone is equipped with 3-axis accelerometer. Motorola MING A1680 MOTO detailing its Android smartphone on its website MOTODEV developer. The Motorola A1680 Ming is the first series with Android and it is a clamshell with a transparent flip.

The phone has a similarity to the Ming XT806, which is intended to China Telecom’s CDMA network support. The A1680 supports rather quad-band GSM / EDGE and WCDMA 2100.
