Mozilla Firefox 4 Faster 3.6.6, Slower Chrome and Safari Software
July 13, 2010 | Computer, Software | 2 CommentsFor the past four years where I was a big fan of Mozilla Firefox, but I recently switched to Google Chrome, thanks to its simple design and superior security, I hoped that Firefox 4 would convert me again, but a recent article on ComputerWorld makes me think otherwise.

In recent tests, calibration Firefox 4 is 27% faster than Firefox 3.6.6 (the current stable release), but JavaScript benchmarks show that Apple is slower than Safari, Google Chrome and Opera.
Computerworld calibration tests used the SunSpider JavaScript benchmark Suite works on Windows Vista Business, each test was run three rhymes and the scores were averaged, you can see a picture showing the results toward the end of this post.
Firefox 4 is still in its beta phase, so we must keep our judgments until adequate release occurs, however, things do not seem very promising. [via product-reviews]
