NEC Adds E461 46-Inch and E551 55-Inch New Displays

Both new models offer full high definition 1080p resolution and refresh rate of 120 Hz Other features include a built-in ATSC / NTSC / QAM tuner, four HDMI inputs, up to 5000:1 typical contrast ratio, high- 12W stereo speakers and a detachable swivel. The E461 and E551 are expected for the month of August for the respective prices of $ 999 and $ 1499.
NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of LCD projector and business solutions, announced today the addition of two new models to its E-Series, the E461 46-inch and 55-inch E551. This raises NEC affordable range of professional display products to include a wide range of sizes from 32 inches to 55-inch screen. These LCDs offer entry-level users with a cost effective solution for retail stores, waiting rooms and conference rooms.
The new models offer full 1080p HD resolution and refresh rate setting of 120 Hz, which increases the clarity of movement and reduce blur. In addition, the E461 and E551 are built-in functions, such as ATSC / NTSC / QAM, 12W stereo speakers and removable swivel. With power consumption as low as 210W and full connectivity including four HDMI inputs, analog RGB, composite video and S-Video, the new E Series models deliver professional performance and an elegant appearance for users digital display in both corporate environments and specialty.

The E461 and E551 includes the following:

- Built-in swivel, which is detachable for wall mounting applications
- Integrated CONEQ Sound technology, which allows users to identify and correct acoustic audio output to compensate for the different settings
- Modes of multiple photos, which alter the appearance image to visual experience
- Advanced video settings, which provide source material is posted regularly and correctly
- JPEG Viewer, which allows users to view images and slide shows set through a USB device
- Backlight set, which allows users to customize the strength against the light, allowing the display of life and low energy consumption
