Designed for professional reportage and landscape photography, this new lens features a revolutionary design for the optical range of Nikon, the leader of the FX-class SLR digital format. The 24mm Nikon lens with a unique optical design that offers better image quality with minimal distortion and excellent corner edge sharpness in particular settings opening wider.

The new optical system combines Nikon’s exclusive anti-reflection Nano Crystal coat, ED glass and aspherical lenses to provide bright, high-quality contrast of the image with minimal distortion and aberration. Zurab Kiknadze, Product Manager lenses, accessories and software, Nikon Europe said: “Despite the success of winning zoom NIKKOR such as the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G ED, many photographers like working with the shallowness of field image and bright viewfinder lenses quick prime and we are confident that this will be widely accepted by the community photojournalism”.
The opening of f/1.4 and nine-blade rounded diaphragm helps to make images with superb brand Nikkor bokeh. The lens has a dedicated Silent Wave Motor Autofocus for smooth operation and unobtrusive, and is built to last with extensive use of magnesium in its construction, and weather and dust sealing, particularly around the mountain.
