Designed for professional reportage and landscape photography, this new lens features a revolutionary design for the optical range of Nikon, the leader of the FX-class SLR digital format. The 24mm Nikon lens with a unique optical design that offers better image quality with minimal distortion and excellent corner edge sharpness in particular settings opening wider.
The new optical system combines Nikon’s exclusive anti-reflection Nano Crystal coat, ED glass and aspherical lenses to provide bright, high-quality contrast of the image with minimal distortion and aberration. The opening of f/1.4 and nine-blade rounded diaphragm helps to make images with superb brand Nikkor bokeh. The lens has a dedicated Silent Wave Motor Autofocus for smooth operation and unobtrusive, and is built to last with extensive use of magnesium in its construction, and weather and dust sealing, particularly around the mountain.
