Nikon Coolpix 990 Digital Camera
Everybody talks about the enormous capacity of macro Nikon 990. I totally agree this camera is a natural product to macro photography, and requires no “extras” to take dramatic, high extreme close-up.
Some 990 Nikon users have difficulty locking on a macro. In most cases this would have the camera at a wide angle lens position. The macro works best if the camera was not set at full wide angle. There is a “sweet spot” for the macro setting on the 990, it is shown on the LCD screen icon by turning yellow flower when the camera is zoomed in its best focal length. If you are too close to the desired field of view to the position of optical zoom, back away from the subject rather than zoom lens to make your composition adjustment.
