The Nokia E71 is one of mobile highest credit rating Trusted Reviews has never been in testing. Upon its release, we hoped on his keyboard brilliant, top notch messaging features and battery life impressive. Nokia has taken a century to move to produce a follow-up, but now that the E72 has finally arrived it was a worthy successor to the original?

The E72 does not seem quite different from its predecessor and, fortunately, only 10 mm thick it is always impressive slim. However, this time around Nokia has increased the quota of style adding some chrome trim around the edge of the device and kitting it out with a battery cover metal engraved with vertical lines which not only make the phone easy to take, but also add an upscale feel. It also feels very solid and gives you confidence that it will stand up to knocks and scratches of life on the road.

There are few other changes here and there. The headphone jack has been upgraded from a 2.5 mm connector jack to a standard 3.5 mm side and moved up the phone. And while the handset is still a mini Nokia charging port, it can now also be charged via the microUSB port, although using it does need a little more time to fill with juice.

One of the best things about the E71 was superb and the keyboard, Nokia has fortunately not too messed around with. The bubble excellent style keys look very similar to the original and the presentation of four lines remains. However, the size of the space bar has been reduced from four to two key widths up to two additional buttons on the bottom row of the keyboard. We did not find the small size of the space bar to be a problem and two additional keys are useful because they lead to less pressing button twice. We are pleased to report that it remains one of the keyboards of mobile phones on best and in our opinion outweighs even the keyboards that you find on BlackBerry handsets. [via trustedreviews]
