Nokia GPS Navigation Mobile Phone
Nokia has announced its intention to launch a new version of Ovi Nokia Maps for smartphones, which includes foot upscale and car navigation at no additional charge, available for download on the website of Nokia Maps.

This initiative has the potential to almost double the size of the current market for mobile navigation. The new version of Nokia Maps Ovi includes a luxury car and navigation features for pedestrians such as turn-by-turn voice guidance in 74 countries in 46 languages, and traffic information for more than 10 countries and as detailed maps for more than 180 countries.
For Nokia, eliminating costs associated with GPS navigation for drivers and pedestrians allows the company to quickly activate a massive user base to which it may offer new features location, content and services. This is part of the strategy Nokia leads the market in moving maps, navigation and location-based services. The move is also consistent with the vision of Nokia that the next wave of growth will be centered on the location Onthe-Aware, social Internet – such as “where” people do things is as important as’ what ‘that’ they do.
