Opera Mini iPhone Application Approved Phone
April 13, 2010 | Cell Phones, iPhone | 1 CommentOpera have announced that their browser Opera Mini for iPhone and iPod Touch has been approved by Apple] [AAPL. The application is made available over the next 24 hours, depending on where you are. I tested in the UK at the moment and it was available for free download.

The application has been submitted to Apple on March 23, shortly after the Mobile World Congress (where he was made a demo). After many people speculate that this would not be approved, we now know that it really is.
The Opera Mini browser for iPhone comes with a too big claim to say that Opera is able to be up to 6 times faster than the native Safari browser built into the iPhone. This is all thanks to use compression on the server side HTML and images to ensure that data is actually downloaded as small as possible, thus saving download time required.
The minutes I have to say is super fast compared to Safari. Loading different pages through the Web browser appears to show as much wax as a native application. The only drawback I found is that pinch to zoom seems a bit flakey at the moment. It almost works as it should, but sometimes, when zooming in and out, he often loses the toe and behind in the browser or down the screen instead of zooming. Otherwise it seems to work as it should.
