Palm Pre and Apple iPhone
April 21, 2009 | Cell Phones, Electronics, iPhone | 2 CommentsNokia’s CFO Rick Simonson spoke in Finnish daily Helsingin Sanomat, and said that the fight handset market has not yet hit bottom. We must ask whether the much-anticipated before the Palm and the new Apple iPhone will be able to help in the fight with these sales.

Reuters reports that Nokia CFO was quoted as saying: “We do not believe that the mobile markets have reached the bottom of the recession yet.” Nokia, the largest mobile phone manufacturer was hit hard by the recession, with a fall of 27 per cent in January-March sales, their biggest decline ever.
Palm also saw its sales decline at an alarming rate, but most of that is self-inflicted as they now have an aging line-up. The launch of the pre will do much to alleviate, as it is much talked about phone, and although the Apple iPhone rumor. [ via product-reviews ]
