Panasonic AG-HMC80 Professional AVCCAM HD Extensive Camcorder

The HMC80 has a professional 3-chip 3-megapixel imager to capture 3MOS 1920 × 1280 × 1080p Full HD 720p or AVCHD video and 10.6 megapixels.
The AG-HMC80 uses the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 high profile encoding and offers four modes AVCCAM professional HD recording, including the method of the highest quality PH (average 21 Mbps / Max 24Mbps ), HA mode (approx.17 Mbps), HG mode (approximately 13 Mbps) and HE mode extensive recording (about 6 Mbit / s). It can also record standard definition DV directly to SD cards in 2 AVI file format type and press offers, mailbox options and secondary crops.
The Panasonic AG-HMC80 is equipped with a stereo microphone. It supports SD / SDHC up to 32GB and has an HDMI output, USB 2.0, composite output, analog component (BNC x 3) and IEEE 1394 output. HMC80 will be available in September for $ 2,895. [via itechnews]
