Other than the pocket-sized HM-TA1, Panasonic also makes the HDC-SDX1, the world’s lightest full HD digital camcorder with an ultra-compact and weighs just under 0.41 pounds.
Compare the HM-TA1, the HDC-SDX1 is a more advanced camera with a 23x wide-angle lens 35.8 mm wide with Smart Zoom, hybrid optical image stabilization system (OIS) provides electrical and optical correction quake Hand, Intelligent Auto (iA) mode, face recognition, face detection, Intelligent Scene Selector and Intelligent Contrast Control.
Panasonic HDC-Files SDX1 1920 × 1080 Full HD AVCHD video in MPEG4 format and supports video Apple iFrame. It comes with a 2.7 inch LCD screen and an SD / SDHC / slot SDXC. The Full HD camcorder can also use a webcam with integrated functionality for internet video calls. HDC-SDX1 will be available in black in September 2010 for $ 499.95. [via itechnews]
