Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TS10 Compact Digital Camera
July 23, 2010 | Digital Camera, Panasonic | 1 CommentPanasonic has announced the new Lumix DMC-TS10 (aka DMC-FT10) robust compact digital camera, an affordable alternative to NT2. As the newest member of the robustness of the TS Series, the TS10/FT10 is, in fact, not as robust as the TS2 Lumix. It is water resistant to 10 meters (33 feet on TS2), shockproof to 5 feet (10 feet on TS2), dustproof and freezeproof to 14 degrees F. To enhance protection, the TS10 comes with silicone sheath to prevent scratches.
TS10 from Panasonic is equipped with a 14.1 megapixel sensor, a folded optics design with a 4x optical zoom lens, Venus Engine IV image processor and a 2.7-inch LCD screen. The accident aircraft includes Intelligent Auto (iA) mode, the image stabilizer MEGA OIS, Intelligent ISO, Face Detection and Intelligent Scene Selector function. The TS10 HD video capture at 720p Motion JPEG format. There are also high-angle mode makes the LCD screen extremely easy to see when the camera is high.
Available in blue, red, black and silver, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS10 will be published in September for $ 249.95. [via itechnews]
