Panasonic Portable Blu-ray Players

At CES 2010, Panasonic has introduced the “industry is the second generation portable Blu-ray Disc”, the DMP and DMP-B500-B100. They are equipped with the company PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus that “accurately process each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc video signal in the vertical direction”.

Panasonic DMP-B500 comes with a 10.1 inch LCD screen and features VIERA CAST Internet with Wi-Fi, VIERA Link, a slot for SD memory card for playback of JPEG pictures and AVCHD video and a USB port . The DMP-B100, on the other hand, has a 8.9 inch screen and an SD slot for JPEG viewing only. Both players support Dolby Digital and DTS HD aduio.

Panasonic DMP-B500-B100 and DMP will be available in spring 2010. [via itechnews]
